Have you ever wanted to own your very own $1,500 bespoke pants, but could not afford them? For a fraction of the price, you can now enroll into our Bespoke Tailoring Course and enjoy sewing and fitting pants for women or trousers for men.
You will learn from our teacher Joshua Ton, a bespoke tailor who works with Sydney’s renowned Savile Row Bespoke Bijan. No pattern making skills are required, just a keen interest in sewing and a passion for making things. At the end of the course, you will get to keep your very own bespoke pants and pattern, which will fit you perfectly.
You will get to choose the style and silhouette of the pants you want to create. It involves machine and hand construction techniques, fitting of the pants or trousers in various construction stages, and changes to the pattern as a result of the fitting process. You will learn how to cut, sew (mostly by hand), fit and press your bespoke pants – a great chance to demystify the world of bespoke tailoring and witness the ceremony of the fitting.
Sessions are run on Wednesday Evenings (6.00pm to 9.30pm), with the next term starting on 20 July 2015. Please click here or call us on 02 9449 1450 for more information. To complement this course, in2Mode also has a Bespoke Jacket making course.
